Workin to Improve Forest Health

The Greenbelt Management Committee of the Crystal Lakes Road and Recreation Association in Larimer County has the distinction of becoming the first neighborhood association to organize a Beetle Buster program based on the recent Larimer County Beetle Buster training session. They have asked Bruce Benninghoff, main speaker at the training session, to help them get started.

The Beetle Buster concept encourages neighbors to combine their knowledge, ideas and resources to more efficiently and less expensively address pine beetle and other forest health and wildfire concerns.

If you think that your neighborhood would benefit from such a program, see Beetle Busters for details.
